Work From Home Activation

In line with the Lockdown Press Release from the Prime Minister’s Office and subsequent announcement from the DC19TF on 22/02/2022, BCAA has activated the Work from home mode w.e.f 24/02/2022 until further notice is issued by the relevant authority on the lockdown relaxation.

Reminder: Prohibition on the use of drones

BCAA would like to once again inform the general public that the use of drones within the Bhutanese airspace is strictly prohibited.
Therefore, all are requested to kindly refrain from using/operating drones. Despite our repeated reminders, some people are still using it.
Severe actions will be taken for the illegal drone operators and repeated defaulters henceforth.
NOTE: The drone operations are allowed only for the Government Agencies as per UAS Regulation.

Type-Rating Course

  Announcement

Bhutan Civil Aviation Authority (BCAA) has secured a slot for an initial type-rating course on Airbus 320 family with the Airbus training center in India from December 2020.  BCAA has a candidate to undergo the training and have an opportunity to accommodate one more pilot as a type-rating partner.

In view of this, we would like to invite any interested Bhutanese holding a valid Commercial Pilot License (CPL with IR) who wishes to undergo the mentioned course on a cost-sharing basis to apply to BCAA on or before 19 October 2020.
