Training on PBN for ATC

A one day training on Performance Based Navigation (PBN) for Air Traffic Controller (ATC) is being held today at DoAT Conference hall which is attended by the Air Navigation Officials from DoAT and BCAA. The Training is organized by DoAT and NavBlue, an Airbus Company.

3rd Coordination Committee Meeting of Aviation Stakeholders

The 3rd Coordination Committee Meeting, held on 04/04/2018 at Paro, was Chaired by Hon’ble Dasho Secretary, MoIC and was attended by Hon’ble Yab, DG, BCAA, Director, DOAT, CEOs of Airlines, Officials from the Ministry, BCAA, DOAT, Airlines. Follow-up on previous decisions, identification of helipads in 20 Dzonkhags, security and safety at airport and draft civil aviation policy are some of the agenda that was called for discussion.


EASA/SARI Ops Workshop

A workshop on the EASA/SARI Ops is being held at BCAA conference Hall from 15-19 January 2018 for Regulatory Review on ESA/SARI OPS Rules.

Officials from BCAA, Airlines, CTA COSCAP-SA are attending the workshop which is being conducted by Captain Kelly Otte, an EASA Expert.



26th SCM of COSCAP-SA

The 26th Steering Committee Meeting (SCM) of COSCAP-SA was held from 9th January to 11th January 2018 in Kathmandu, Nepal.

The Members States and/or invitees did wide of discussions on Discussion Papers and Information Papers related to safety within the states.

Meeting on Air Service Agreement

A one day Stakeholders consultative meeting on Air Service Agreements is happening here in BCAA conference hall today the 26th December 2017. The meeting is organised by BCAA in Collaboration with PPD, MoIC.

The Meeting is chaired by DG, BCAA with participants from PPD, DoAT, MFA, RRCO and two airlines.



TOT on Ethics and Integrity Management

Sensitization on TOT for Ethics and Integrity Management Tools for BCAA Employees was conducted by the Focal Officials from MoIC on 15th December 2017 at BCAA Conference hall.



Designed Check Pilot (DCP) Course

The 2nd batch DCP Course for Pilot Examiners and Inspectors is being carried out at the Druk Air Flight Operations Conference hall w.e.f 4th – 8th December 2017.

The course is attended by 13 participants from the Airlines, specially 7 participants from Nepal and the rest from Druk Air, Bhutan Airlines and from BCAA.



6th EASA/EU International Cooperation Forum

The Director General and The Chief Of Flight Safety, BCAA is currently attending the 6th EASA/EU International Cooperation Forum at Cologne, Germany scheduled from 19th October – 20th October 2017.

There are more than 100 participants from over 40 Countries attending the Forum.
