Terms and Conditions

  1. All bids must be must be submitted in a sealed envelop marked to the Director General, BCAA by 31st March, 2017 before 11 AM and will be opened at 2 PM on the same day.
  2. The rates should be quoted as per the particulars given above and will be selected based on lowest evaluated bid.
  3. Tender Document should contain a copy of valid tax clearance & trade license issued by Ministry of Economic Affairs.
  4. The purchaser reserves every right to reject the bids if it is found not responsive to our terms and conditions, and the decision of the tender committee will be final and binding.

Parking Fee Charges at Paro International Airport

The Department of Air Transport  under Ministry of Information & Communications would like to inform the general public that for convenience and safety of passengers and to decongest at the car park at the Paro International Airport, a new taxi counter will be in operation at the arrival terminal and parking fee for collection collection will start from 1st March,2017 onwards.

There are four parking zones available for which the following fees will be charged:

Light Vehicle

Zone 1: Nu.100 for thirty minutes or less, thereafter Nu.100 for every thirty minutes.

Zone 2: Nu.50 for thirty minutes or less, thereafter Nu.50 for every thirty minutes.

Zone 3: Nu.20 for thirty minutes or less, thereafter Nu.20 for every thirty minutes.

Zone 3: Free for crew at the crew parking.

Zone 4: Staff and free parking, however no  overnight parking permitted in Zone 4.

Heavy Vehicle

Zone 1: Nu.150 for thirty minutes or less, thereafter Nu.150 for every thirty minutes.

Zone 2: Nu.100 for thirty minutes or less, thereafter Nu.100 for every thirty minutes.

Zone 3: Nu.20  for thirty minutes or less, thereafter Nu.20 for every thirty minutes.

Overnight parking at Zone 3 for all types of vehicles -Nu.200 per night.

 

USD Enterprise who has been selected through open tender will be operating and managing the taxi counter and the automatic parking fee collection services which will be established as per the International Airport Standards within May 2017.

All taxi owners interested  in operating in Paro International Airport shall contact USD Enterprise for registration. The rates shall be approved by RSTA,MoIC.A TOR shall be drawn between USD Enterprise and the registered taxi owners.
